Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has reportedly priced himself out of a potential transfer to Marseille, due to his high wages.

Marouane Fellaini has reportedly priced himself out of a summer switch to Ligue 1 outfit Marseille with his high wage demands.

The Manchester United midfielder is rumoured to have refused a new contract at Old Trafford, in the search for increased game time.

According to L'Equipe, Fellaini met with Marseille chief Andoni Zubizarreta last week but wages remain the stumbling block in any potential deal.

The report adds that AC Milan are interested in signing the Belgian international as well.

Fellaini will become a free agent this summer and is in talks with several foreign clubs.
