Everton 'interested in James Wilson loan'

Everton register their interest in a loan move for Manchester United striker James Wilson, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly keen on taking young Manchester United striker James Wilson on loan next season.

Wilson scored twice for the Red Devils last term, but could struggle for first-team football at United as manager Louis van Gaal considers a potential overhaul of his attacking options.

According to the Daily Star, Everton have been quick to register their interest in a temporary deal from the 19-year-old.

However, the Toffees could face competition from West Bromwich Albion, where Wilson was recommended to them by former United midfielder Darren Fletcher.

Wilson made his first Manchester United start against Hull City towards the end of the 2013-14 camapign.
