Manchester United target Shinji Kagawa will hold a final round of contract talks with Borussia Dortmund following the German Cup final later today.

Shinji Kagawa is expected to hold a final round of talks with Borussia Dortmund, who are said to be desperate for him to stay at Westfalenstadion.

The 23-year-old Japanese midfielder, who is a reported target for Manchester United, has one year left on his current contract with the German champions.

Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly hopeful that £7m will be enough to prise Kagawa away from his current employers.

However, Dortmund are refusing to give up on keeping the player and are planning to provide him with a final contract offer following the German Cup final later today, according to talkSPORT.

Kagawa has scored 13 goals this season and provided eight assists in 31 league appearances.
