Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to demand as much as £103m for midfielder Jude Bellingham next summer.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly set Jude Bellingham's asking price at £103m ahead of the 2023 summer transfer window.

With Erling Braut Haaland having made the switch to Manchester City earlier this summer, the England international is now regarded as Dortmund's most prized asset.

In his two years at the Westfalenstadion, the teenager has been a revelation, already establishing himself as the heartbeat of the team in his 89 appearances.

Bellingham, who turned 19 years of age on Wednesday, has also contributed 10 goals and 18 assists, largely from the middle of the pitch.

At a time when he has three years remaining on his contract, Dortmund have no intention of entertaining any proposals for the player this summer.

However, unless Bellingham pens a new contract over the next 12 months, there is every expectation that he will be allowed to move on for the right price.

According to Bild, the Bundesliga giants intend to demand in the region of £103m for a player who is being tipped to become one of the best midfielders in the world for years to come.

That alleged decision comes off the back of Bellingham contributing four goals and 11 assists from his 38 appearances in Germany's top flight and the Champions League in 2021-22.

Bellingham is not short of admirers and it was claimed earlier this week that Real Madrid were already planning to put forward a proposal in 2023.

Club officials allegedly view the former Birmingham City youngster as the perfect addition to form a midfield trio alongside Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni.

However, that particular report claimed that Los Blancos were only prepared to offer £77m, a figure which would seemingly be rejected out of hand.

Liverpool and Manchester United have also been linked with Bellingham in the past, the suggestion being that the latter would emerge as a realistic destination should they achieve Champions League football for 2023-24.

Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp is said to be giving consideration to delay his search for a new midfielder by an extra 12 months, a stance which would naturally put Liverpool in the mix for Bellingham.
