Manchester United have been given a 13-day deadline by Borussia Dortmund to sign Jadon Sancho, according to a report.
The England international is widely considered to be the Red Devils' primary target this summer after another superb Bundesliga campaign.
Sancho, who scored and assisted a combined 33 goals in the German top flight in 2019-20, is believed to have been valued in the region of £110m.
United are looking to knock that price down, but the Daily Mail suggests that they are fast running out of time to agree terms with Dortmund.
It is claimed that BVB have set United a deadline of August 10 to get a deal over the line or look elsewhere, despite the fact that the transfer window will remain open until October 5 this year.
The German club do not want their preparations for next season to be disrupted and will therefore refuse to conduct any further business beyond that cut-off point.
Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish is thought to have been eyed up by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side as a possible back-up option if talks for Sancho fall through.
