Angel di Maria missed Real Madrid's training session this morning amid speculation that he is on the verge of joining Manchester United.
Speculation yesterday evening claimed that United had grown increasingly confident that they could convince the Argentine winger to sign on at Old Trafford, with a fee in the region of £50m mooted.
His absence from the today's session has since resulted in rumours that the deal could now be close to completion.

Meanwhile, despite doubts over his future with Los Blancos, German midfielder Sami Khedira did train with his teammates, who are preparing for tomorrow's first La Liga game of the season against Cordoba.
