Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirms that Kalidou Koulibaly is likely to leave the club this summer.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed that Kalidou Koulibaly will leave this summer providing that the Italian club receive a suitable offer for his services.

The Senegal international's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Manchester City thought to be leading the race to sign him in the current transfer window.

De Laurentiis has revealed that the central defender is available, although it remains to be seen whether City can agree a fee for the 29-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester United.

"Koulibaly and [Arkadiusz] Milik are both on their way out, transfer market permitting," De Laurentiis told Canale 21. "So, if the transfer market allows us to sell these two excellent players, we will know how to replace them. If not, then we'll discuss it again next year."

City have allegedly already agreed personal terms with Koulibaly but are yet to settle on a fee with Napoli, who are thought to value him in the region of £90m.

Pep Guardiola's side have already boosted their defence this summer with the signing of Nathan Ake.
