Atletico Madrid reportedly want former keeper David de Gea to replace Thibaut Coutois next season.

Atletico Madrid are believed to be eyeing a loan deal for Manchester United keeper David de Gea.

The 22-year-old's future at Old Trafford is uncertain following a difficult start to life in the Premier League, and reports suggest that Asmir Begovic could be a summer arrival.

According to the Daily Mail, Los Colchoneros could offer their former star an escape route, as they fear that they will be unable to agree a permanent deal for Chelsea stopper Thibaut Courtois.

De Gea left the Vicente Calderon for United in a £17m deal in June 2011.
