Matteo Darmian to undergo Manchester United medical?

A report in Italy claims that Torino full-back Matteo Darmian will undergo a medical at Manchester United tomorrow.

Manchester United have reportedly booked Matteo Darmian in for a medical on Friday.

The right-back's current club Torino confirmed yesterday evening that they had agreed a fee with their Premier League counterparts for the 25-year-old.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italy international has said goodbye to his teammates and will now travel to Manchester for a series of medical checks and final contract negotiations.

Speculation has suggested that United will pay around £14m for Darmian, who once the deal is finalised will have become Louis van Gaal's second signing of the summer after Memphis Depay.
