Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot is reportedly on the brink of joining AC Milan on a season-long loan deal.
Dalot was selected for United's EFL Cup tie with Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday evening, playing the full 90 minutes as his club cruised through to the quarter-finals.
However, it has long been suggested that the Portuguese does not feature in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's immediate plans, resulting in frequent speculation regarding his future.
According to the Daily Mail, the 21-year-old will travel to Italy on Saturday to seal a temporary switch to Milan.
The report suggests that talks intensified on Friday, leading to plans being put in place for Dalot's arrival over the weekend.
The youngster has made just 35 outings for United since joining from Porto in 2018.
