Out-of-favour Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic refuses to rule out a move away from Stamford Bridge amid reported interest from Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Out-of-favour Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has admitted that "anything can happen" in football when asked about the possibility of an exit from Stamford Bridge.

The USA international arrived in West London with high expectations from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, but he has struggled to make the desired impact.

Pulisic has helped Chelsea win the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup, making 133 appearances in all tournaments and contributing 26 goals and 21 assists.

However, the 24-year-old fell out of favour under Thomas Tuchel, and his situation has not improved during the early days of Graham Potter's reign either.

This season, Pulisic has only managed one goal and two assists from 18 matches in all competitions, starting just three games in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.

Despite his patchy form domestically, Pulisic enjoyed a productive World Cup campaign with the USA, scoring once and setting up two more goals in four games as Gregg Berhalter's men reached the last 16.

Pulisic's form in Qatar supposedly attracted interest from Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal, and he was recently asked about his future by the Indirect Podcast.

The former Dortmund starlet affirmed that he was totally focused on improving his game time at Stamford Bridge, but he also refused to rule out a move away from Chelsea in the future.

"I mean, right now I'm absolutely back at Chelsea and focused and ready to finish the season. But you know how things work in football," Pulisic explained.

"Things change quickly and anything can happen. At the moment I am just pushing myself in training and working at Chelsea because that's where I am right now."

Mason Mount, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Kai Havertz and Raheem Sterling are often preferred to Pulisic in the Chelsea attack, and the Blues are said to be closing in on the signing of RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku.

The France international is reportedly set to make the move to the English capital at the end of the season, having already undergone a medical and completed the necessary paperwork.

As well as Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech is also widely expected to depart Chelsea in the coming months, having also failed to win over Potter in the Englishman's early weeks in charge.

AC Milan were strongly linked with a move for the Morocco international over the summer, but the Rossoneri have supposedly now cooled their interest due to his wage demands.

Chelsea return to Premier League action following the World Cup break with a home clash against Bournemouth on December 27.
