Christian Eriksen 'to snub Manchester United move'

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen will turn down a move to Manchester United in January, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Christian Eriksen is reportedly ready to turn down a move to Manchester United.

The Denmark international will see his current deal with Spurs expire at the end of the 2019-20 campaign, and the playmaker continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

According to the Daily Star, United are keen on a January swoop for the former Ajax playmaker, who has only scored one Premier League goal this season.

However, the report claims that the 27-year-old wants to wait until the end of the 2019-20 campaign before leaving Tottenham, which is likely to attract the attention of Real Madrid and Juventus.

Spurs would allegedly be prepared to accept an offer of £25m in the January transfer window, but Eriksen is aware that he would receive a substantial signing-on fee next summer if he moves on a free transfer.

Eriksen has scored twice and provided three assists in 19 outings at club level this term.
