Chelsea manager Graham Potter is reportedly against the potential signing of Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo, 37, has caused a great deal of controversy in the last few days by speaking out and criticising both his former and current manager, as well as the club during a scathing interview with Piers Morgan.
The backlash has been severe and the future of the Portuguese international at United looks extremely bleak as he looks to force a move away in the January window.
However, a move to Chelsea is seemingly off the cards according to the Daily Mail, as it is now understood that Potter does not want to sign the Manchester United veteran, despite Todd Boehly's wishes.
Chelsea's American owner Boehly has a close relationship with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who represents Ronaldo, and the agent has offered his client to a whole host of clubs that include Chelsea, Newcastle United, Bayern Munich, Sporting Lisbon and Napoli.
Former Blues manager Thomas Tuchel also declined Ronaldo during the summer transfer window as he defied the owner's wishes at the time.
