Yohan Cabaye has refused to entertain speculation that Manchester United are interested in signing him.
Instead, the French midfielder is keen to concentrate on continuing his form for Newcastle United.
"I heard about United's interest in me, but things are only just beginning," the 25-year-old told The Journal.
"I have a bit of experience of clubs following me, so I would rather not get carried away by thinking too much about such things.
"I simply want to concentrate on my objectives with Newcastle, and playing for Newcastle."
Cabaye joined Newcastle during the summer from French champions Lille for a reported £5m fee.
