Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane has reportedly told Barcelona that he is not interested in joining the club during this summer's transfer window.
There is currently a host of speculation surrounding the 28-year-old's future, with his contract at Allianz Arena due to expire in the summer of 2025.
Manchester City are believed to be interested in bringing him back to the club, while fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United and Liverpool are also thought to be closely monitoring the situation.
According to Sport, Barcelona made it clear that they were keen on Sane, viewing him as one of the leading candidates to boost their attack during the upcoming market.
The report claims that Sane's contract situation put Barcelona on red alert, with the Catalan outfit seeking to sign a winger capable of contributing goals and assists.

Sane has scored nine goals and registered 12 assists in 29 appearances for Bayern this season, including eight goals and 11 assists in 20 appearances in Germany's top flight.
The forward made the move to Bayern from Man City in the summer of 2020, and he has represented the Munich side on 162 occasions, scoring 47 goals and registering 49 assists in the process.
Addressing his future towards the end of last year, Sane told reporters: "I haven't given it any thought. The club wants to have discussions but at the moment I want to concentrate on the season. Bayern will be my first point of contact, everything else will take care of itself."
