Real Madrid are reportedly planning to battle Manchester United for the signature of Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez during next summer's transfer window.
The Hungary international made the move to Bernabeu from AZ Alkmaar in 2023, and he has impressed for the Cherries over the last 18 months, making 46 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and providing three assists in the process.
The 21-year-old has a contract at the Vitality Stadium until June 2028, but there is currently a host of speculation surrounding his future, with Man United said to be keen to sign him in 2025.
The Red Devils have made a new left-sided defender a priority for next year due to Luke Shaw's ongoing injury problems, and it is understood that Kerkez is one of their leading targets in that area of the field.
However, according to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are also in the hunt, with Los Blancos looking for a long-term option in that position.

Real Madrid 'planning to battle' Man United for Kerkez
Alphonso Davies had been Real Madrid's leading left-back target, but it is understood that the Canada international is now close to signing a contract extension with Bayern Munich.
As a result, the Spanish and European champions are being forced to look elsewhere, and Kerkez's displays since arriving at Bournemouth are said to have caught the attention of Carlo Ancelotti's side.
The Hungarian has been in strong form in the Premier League this season, making 14 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and providing two assists in the process.
Kerkez was again impressive for Bournemouth on Thursday night, as Andoni Iraola's side recorded a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, with the result moving the Cherries into ninth position in the Premier League table.

What would a Kerkez move mean for Mendy, Garcia?
Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia are the senior left-backs at Real Madrid, with both making 16 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign, and the latter has recently enjoyed a run in the side, starting the last four La Liga matches.
Mendy's contract at Bernabeu is due to expire next June, though, and there have been suggestions that the France international could leave in search of pastures new.
Kerkez could therefore find himself as the first-choice left-back at Bernabeu next season, but Man United are also thought to be determined to sign him, so two of the biggest clubs in world football could lock horns for his signature.
