Negotiations between Barcelona and Ousmane Dembele over a new contract have hit another stumbling block according to a report.
The 24-year-old has less than six weeks remaining on his current contract and is free to negotiate pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs.
Dembele is understood to have told head coach Xavi, his Barca teammates and the club's hierarchy that he is open to staying at Camp Nou, but both he and his agent are yet to agree fresh terms over a new deal.
According to Marca, a meeting will be held on Tuesday between Dembele's representatives and the Catalan giants to discuss a contract extension.
The report adds, however, that Barcelona are losing their patience with Dembele and his agent as they have failed to reach an agreement after several months of negotiations.
Barca are keen to tie the winger down to a new deal but will not break the bank to extend his stay, while a number of top European clubs are believed to be keeping a close eye on the situation.
Dembele, who has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, scored two goals and registered 13 assists in 32 appearances for Barca across all competitions in 2021-22.
