Barcelona have reportedly rejected an offer of £31m for midfielder Andre Gomes.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had identified the Portuguese international as a potential transfer target ahead of next season.
United are keen to strengthen in the middle of the park, and with Gomes enduring a mixed first campaign at Camp Nou, it was suggested that they were confident of pushing through a deal.
However, according to Catalunya Radio, the La Liga giants have no intention of letting him leave the club this summer.
Gomes allegedly picked Barca over United last summer but despite making 27 starts in all competitions, he has failed to fully establish himself at his new team.
The 23-year-old still has four years remaining on his existing contract.
