Atletico Madrid reportedly turned down a €150m (£135m) offer from an unnamed Premier League club for Joao Felix before the coronavirus pandemic.
Felix joined Atletico from Benfica in last summer's transfer window and has scored eight times in 29 appearances for Diego Simeone's side in all competitions.
The capital giants are believed to have paid in the region of €126m (£122m) for the Portugal international, who signed a seven-year contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.
According to Goal, though, an intermediary from a Premier League club approached Atletico earlier this year with an offer of €150m (£135m) for the versatile forward.
The report claims that the Spanish outfit, who have high hopes for Felix despite his struggles this season, were quick to turn down the bid.
Manchester United have previously been linked with the 20-year-old, although it is unclear whether the reported approach came from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
