Atletico Madrid are reportedly at the head of the queue for Benfica attacker Darwin Nunez.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for his Portuguese club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 26 times in 33 appearances in all competitions, including 20 goals in 22 league outings.
Nunez still has more than three years left to run on his current deal, but the Uruguay international is expected to be on the move during this summer's transfer window.
Manchester United continue to be strongly linked with the forward, who is believed to be valued by Benfica in the region of £67m.
However, according to Fichajes, Atletico are at the head of the queue for the South American, with the Spanish champions preparing to replace both Luis Suarez and Joao Felix this summer.
Nunez has scored 40 goals and registered 14 assists in 77 appearances for Benfica since making the move to the Portuguese club from Almeria in September 2020.
