Arsenal to move for Javier Hernandez?

Arsenal will reportedly move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez should the Mexican continue to remain on the substitutes' bench at Old Trafford.

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez will reportedly be the subject of a bid from Arsenal during the January transfer window.

Arsenal need to strengthen their striking department after missing out on adding to their attack in the summer, with Olivier Giroud being forced to start the majority of the club's domestic and European fixtures.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has instructed his scouting team to produce a report on the Mexican in preparation for a potential bid for his signature.

Hernandez has found himself on the substitutes' bench for many of United's games this campaign, although he has netted three goals in his past three appearances.
