Arsenal and Manchester United will reportedly launch a raid on Barcelona's bloated squad during the January transfer window.
Manager Ernesto Valverde has recognised the need to dispense with several players in January to address a congested squad, which contains seven midfielders competing for three spots.
Reports from Spain have suggested that Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for Samuel Umtiti, Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal.
According to The Sun, the two Premier League clubs will look to take advantage of the situation by raiding Barcelona's list of unwanted players in January.
The Gunners, despite signing David Luiz and William Saliba over the summer, are said to be keen on bringing Umtiti to the Emirates, while United want Rakitic after failing to secure any midfielders in the transfer window.
It is thought that Barcelona are keen to garner funds from these sales in order to facilitate a return to Camp Nou for Neymar next summer.
