Crystal Palace attacker Michael Olise has reportedly reached a verbal agreement over personal terms with another Premier League club ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old was a standout performer for the Eagles in 2023-24 and despite missing several games due to injury, he still managed to score 10 goals and provide six assists in 19 Premier League games.

Olise enjoyed a strong end to the season following the arrival of new manager Oliver Glasner and was part of the Palace side that won six of their final seven games to secure a 10th-placed finish in the Premier League.

Glasner stated last month that he is confident both Olise and fellow in-demand attacker Eberechi Eze will remain at the club this summer.

Transfer rumours: Villa chase Lazio star, Fulham target Luton man, Newcastle open to forward exit

Lazio's Taty Castellanos celebrates scoring their second goal with Matteo Guendouzi on April 23, 2024

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing Lazio midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, who has previously worked under Unai Emery.

While the West Midlands outfit have secured a place in next season's Champions League, they are seemingly under pressure to generate funds in order to pass the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations.

Douglas Luiz is allegedly likely to sign for Juventus, with two players moving to Villa in part-exchange, and it appears that Emery is eager to bring in further competition for the engine room in the form of a player that he worked with at Arsenal.

According to Football Insider, Villa have opened discussions with Lazio regarding the potential addition of Guendouzi.

Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea 'handed major £63m transfer boost'

Premier League trio Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have all received a boost in their pursuit of Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, according to a report.

Costa joined Porto at the age of 12 and worked his way through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut in 2019, and he has since developed into a senior star for the Portuguese giants.

The 24-year-old has kept 64 clean sheets in 154 appearances for Porto across all competitions, including 14 shutouts in 33 Primeira Liga outings last season to win the Golden Glove.

Costa has already had plenty of success with Porto, winning a total of eight trophies including two Primeira Liga titles and four Portuguese cups, while he has also been named Primeira Liga Goalkeeper of the Season on two occasions.

Newcastle United have announced the signing of defender Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer from Bournemouth.

The 25-year-old will leave the Cherries upon the expiration of his contract on June 30 and will officially joined the Magpies on the first day of July.

Kelly completed his medical on Wednesday in the North East and has since put pen to paper on a long-term contract.

The left-sided defender, who is comfortable operating as a left-back or centre-back, has been handed the No.25 shirt at Newcastle and becomes Eddie Howe's first signing of the summer.

Arsenal 'could abandon' key transfer plan after brutal striker rejection

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta reacts on April 9, 2024
    © Reuters

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly altered his side's striker plans for the summer transfer window after their failure to lure Benjamin Sesko away from RB Leipzig.

Despite the presence of Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah, a fresh face in the number nine position is believed to have been on Arsenal's agenda for some time.

At one stage, the Gunners appeared to be on the right path to a deal for Sesko, whose previous Leipzig deal included a £55m release clause amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

As neither of Arsenal's Premier League rivals can offer prospective signings Champions League football next season, the Gunners were ostensibly at the head of the queue, and Sesko had apparently given the green light to a switch.

Arsenal's rivals 'have baulked' at Ramsdale asking price

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale reacts on November 25, 2023
    © Reuters

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is allegedly struggling to attract suitable interest for the summer transfer window.

Ramsdale spent the first two years of his stay at the Emirates Stadium as number one, ousting Bernd Leno and seemingly being settled between the sticks.

That remained the case after the arrival of David Raya from Brentford, yet Mikel Arteta made the decision to remove Ramsdale from the side after the September international break.

Since then, the England international has made just six appearances - two due to Raya being unable to face his parent club - and it is an open secret that he would prefer to move elsewhere.

Chelsea 'considering move' for £65m Arsenal-linked striker

Chelsea are reportedly interested in securing a reunion with one of their former players during the summer transfer window.

The Blues have already moved to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer in order to bolster their options in that area of the pitch.

However, it has been well-documented that a new centre-forward is very much on the radar of the club's recruitment in order to provide competition for Nicolas Jackson.

Although the Senegal international enjoyed a solid first campaign at Stamford Bridge, the amount of big chances missed by the attacker has led to a sustained effort trying to find an alternative.

AC Milan may have dealt Man United double transfer blow with Fonseca appointment

Lille coach Paulo Fonseca reacts on December 14, 2023
    © Reuters

AC Milan have confirmed the arrival of Paulo Fonseca as their new head coach following Zlatan Ibrahimovic's public backing of the 51-year-old.

The Rossoneri are entering a new era in the wake of Stefano Pioli's exit, as the man who led them to the 2021-22 Serie A title left the club at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

Pioli had been at the San Siro helm for almost exactly five years, leaving his successor with a tough act to follow, but the board quickly settled on Fonseca as the prime candidate for the job.

The 51-year-old's arrival was recently announced by former Milan striker Ibrahimovic, who now works for the club's owners as a senior advisor and hailed Fonseca as the "right man" to lead the Rossoneri into their new era.

West Ham confirm £25m arrival - Lopetegui beats Chelsea, Man Utd to first signing

West Ham United have announced the signing of Brazilian starlet Luis Guilherme from Palmeiras.

The 18-year-old was identified by Hammers director of football Tim Steidten as a top summer target during a scouting mission in South America earlier this year.

Although a host of top European clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, were credited with an interest in Guilherme, the winger has decided to make the move to West Ham in a deal believed to be worth €23m (£19.4m) plus €7m (£5.9m) in add-ons.

Guilherme completed his medical on Tuesday and has since put pen to paper on a five-year contract that ties him to the London Stadium until 2029.

Transfer rumours: Guendouzi to Villa, Mangala to Lyon, Mengi to Fulham

Aston Villa have reportedly opened discussions over a summer deal for Marseille's Matteo Guendouzi.

The 25-year-old spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan with Lazio, making 46 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions, including 33 outings in Serie A.

Guendouzi has another 12 months left to run on his contract with Marseille, but he is expected to depart during this summer's transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Villa are in preliminary talks over a move for the former Arsenal midfielder during this summer's transfer window.

Most bizarre contract announcement? Chelsea striker extends terms after exit prank

Chelsea Women striker Sam Kerr pictured in November 2023
    © Reuters

Chelsea Women have announced that striker Sam Kerr has signed a contract extension with the club until the end of the 2025-26 season, mere moments after it was suggested that she would be heading for the exit door.

The Blues left supporters in bewilderment on Thursday morning, sharing a sit-down video with the Australia striker, who appeared to be emotionally announcing her exit from Stamford Bridge.

Kerr paid tribute to her time at the club and the fans, whom she implored to welcome head coach Sonia Bompastor with "open arms" before ending her monologue with a simple "thank you so much".

The striker's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the month, but only 20 minutes after she had ostensibly bid farewell to the Blues, the 30-year-old was revealed to have put pen to paper on a new deal in West London, taking her up to the end of the 2025-26 season.

Real Madrid 'make contact' over summer move for Tottenham star

    © Reuters

Real Madrid have reportedly been in contact with Cristian Romero's representatives to discuss a move for the Tottenham Hotspur defender during this summer's transfer window.

Los Blancos will be boosting their attack with the acquisitions of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick this summer, but the club are not thought to be planning to sign a new central midfielder despite Toni Kroos's retirement.

Instead, Jude Bellingham is likely to move back from the number 10 position into central midfield, with Mbappe joining Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo in the final third of the field.

However, according to ESPN Argentina, Real Madrid are looking to sign a centre-back, with the club making contact with Romero's camp to discuss the possibility of a switch to Bernabeu.

Ratcliffe 'to hand Ten Hag £140m war chest at Man United'

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag shakes hands with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe after winning the FA Cup on May 25, 2024
    © Reuters

Manchester United's new minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly told Erik ten Hag that the club's summer transfer budget is around £140m.

The Red Devils have now allegedly reached a decision on Ten Hag's future, with the Dutchman set to stay at Old Trafford and potentially sign a new contract.

Planning for the summer market and 2024-25 campaign has now been stepped up due to the managerial decision, and Man United are planning to be active during the transfer window.

Ten Hag recently said that he wanted to bring in a centre-back, central midfielder and centre-forward ahead of next season.

Man Utd 'make move' for 21-year-old Bundesliga striker

Manchester United have reportedly made a move for Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier.

The Red Devils have made signing a striker one of their priorities during the summer transfer window, with Anthony Martial set to officially leave Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of the month.

Man United want to bring in support for Rasmus Hojlund next season, and a recent report claimed that Brentford's Ivan Toney, Bologna's Joshua Zirkzee and Lille's Jonathan David were being tracked.

According to Bild, the 20-time English champions are also keen on Beier, with Erik ten Hag's side approaching the striker's camp to learn of his wage demands.
