Midfielder Paul Scholes starts his first match for Manchester United since coming out of retirement for today's visit of Bolton Wanderers.

Paul Scholes will make his first start for Manchester United since coming out of retirement during today's Premier League fixture with Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford.

Phil Jones and Chris Smalling have been ruled out in defence for United, with their places going to Jonny Evans and Rafael.

Adam Bogdan will continue between the posts for visiting Bolton, while David Ngog will lead the line as a lone striker.
