Team News: Wayne Rooney returns for United

Manchester United welcome Wayne Rooney back into their starting lineup as they host Newcastle but Phil Jones misses out altogether.

Michael Carrick also starts in midfield while Fabio comes in at right-back.

Newcastle, meanwhile, give starts to ex-United players Danny Simpson and Gabriel Obertan while Hatem Ben Arfa gets the nod alongside Demba Ba.
