Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward reiterates that the Glazer family are not prepared to sell their stake in the club.

Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has reiterated that the Glazer family are not prepared to sell their stake in the club.

The Americans, who have proved controversial among the Red Devils' fanbase since buying them in 2005, have come under increased pressure following the side's poor start to the season.

Earlier in the week it was revealed that Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman was planning to offer up to £3bn to acquire United.

Speaking to the United We Stand fanzine, Woodward said: "With regards to offers or asking prices, my understanding is that there have been no discussions for a price for the club or anything like that. Every conversation we have is based on the long-term."

United ended Liverpool's winning league start on Sunday by holding them to a draw and they return to action on Thursday when they travel to face Partizan Belgrade in the Europa League.
