Wayne Rooney has arrived back at his home after spending the night in hospital with a leg injury.
The Manchester United striker had been under medical observation following a collision with Fulham frontman Hugo Rodallega yesterday afternoon, leaving him with a deep cut on his leg.
Having had a number of stitches, the 26-year-old was discharged earlier today.
"Thanks for all your get well messages for @WayneRooney! He's home from hospital now, leg stitched up, but feeling ok," his wife Coleen wrote on Twitter this afternoon.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that the injury could keep Rooney out of action for four weeks.
