Louis van Gaal: 'We should have scored more'

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says that his side should have found the net more than twice against Crystal Palace.

Louis van Gaal has insisted that his Manchester United side should have beaten Crystal Palace by a more convincing margin at Old Trafford this evening.

The Red Devils ran out 2-0 victors in a game that saw them have 16 shots on goal, 10 of which landed on target.

With that in mind, Van Gaal would like to have seen a few more goals fired in.

"I was very happy with the performance. It was a four or five zero game," the United boss told MUTV.

"We should have finished it much earlier and should have scored more goals. We created a lot of chances and did not give any chances away."

Next up for Van Gaal's men is the FA Cup semi-final against Everton at Wembley on Saturday.
