Manchester United make Jose Mourinho first choice to replace Louis van Gaal?

Jose Mourinho is reportedly informed that he will get the Manchester United job should Louis van Gaal leave Old Trafford during the summer.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly been told that he is Manchester United's first choice to replace Louis van Gaal should the Dutchman leave Old Trafford this summer.

Since his departure from Chelsea in December, Mourinho has been linked with a number of positions in Europe but he has frequently been associated with the position at United, with Van Gaal failing to challenge for the Premier League title during his time in the North-West.

According to Sky Sports News, no decision has been made by United's owners regarding the role of Van Gaal ahead of next season but Mourinho has been informed that he can take the job should Van Gaal be removed from the dugout.

It has been reported that Mourinho is in talks with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, while the Portuguese has also been linked with Everton and Valencia.
