Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly has no plans to step down as Manchester United boss despite the speculation surrounding his future.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer allegedly has no plans to step down as Manchester United manager despite the ongoing speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford.

The Norwegian survived the international break without losing his job, and he will lead the Red Devils into Saturday's Premier League clash with Watford at Vicarage Road.

However, a recent report claimed that Man United are already planning to replace the treble-winning striker, with Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers, Spain's Luis Enrique and Zinedine Zidane all candidates for the role.

According to The Sun, Solskjaer is confident that he can oversee a change in fortunes and will not walk away from his position in Manchester.

The report claims that a number of first-team players 'are growing disillusioned with his tactics and team selection', but the 48-year-old remains in a positive mindset ahead of Saturday's clash with Watford.

Man United have lost three of their last four matches in the Premier League, which has left them in sixth position in the table, five points behind fourth-placed Liverpool.
