Alexis Sanchez cuts ties with his former Manchester United teammates following his loan move to Inter Milan, according to a report.

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly cut ties with his former Manchester United teammates following his loan move to Inter Milan.

The Chilean scored just five goals in 45 appearances for the Red Devils before leaving the club this summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Sun reports that while Sanchez stayed in the United WhatsApp group following his move to the Italian giants, he has remained silent, making it seem as if "he was never here".

This is in stark contract to defender Chris Smalling, who is believed to have remained very active in the group following his switch to Roma during the same transfer window.

Sanchez had a memorable full debut for Inter at the weekend, scoring his first goal in their 3-1 win over Sampdoria before getting sent off on 47 minutes for a second yellow card.
