Former Real Madrid forward Raul believes that his old club and Barcelona are the top club sides in the world despite Chelsea's Champions League triumph.

Real Madrid legend Raul believes that his former club and Barcelona are the two outstanding teams in world football.

Despite Chelsea winning the Champions League this season while the La Liga duo were eliminated at the semi-final stage, Madrid's all-time leading scorer is adamant that Spain is currently the cream of the crop when it comes to club football.

"Manchester United are a great team in England, but right now Barcelona and Real Madrid are the two best teams in the world," he said.

Raul scored 44 times in 102 games for Spain at international level.
