New Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has hailed Cristiano Ronaldo after watching the Portuguese score twice in Thursday's 3-2 win over Arsenal.
There have been suggestions that Ronaldo could be in and out of the side under Rangnick, who is expected to adopt a high-press style of football at Old Trafford during his time at the helm.
However, the German has seemingly denied claims that he will favour other players over the experienced forward, claiming that he has 'never seen a player still that physically fit at 36'.
"At his age I've never seen a player who is still that physically fit. He is still a player who can easily make the difference," Rangnick told reporters. "It is about how can we develop the whole team."
The former Sporting Lisbon youngster netted a brace against the Gunners to make it 801 career goals during a staggering career.
Ronaldo has now found the back of the net on 12 occasions in 16 appearances for the 20-time English champions since returning to the club over the summer.
