Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs to invest in non-league club Salford City?

Manchester United favourites Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are reportedly considering an investment in non-league club Salford City.

Former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville and current player-coach Ryan Giggs are reportedly planning to invest in non-league football club Salford City.

Neville is said to be in talks with the Northern Premier League Division One North club, where Giggs's brother Rhodri used to play, regarding a possible bid.

"Discussions are at a preliminary stage," a spokesman for Neville told BBC Sport.

Reports have claimed that Neville, who has already entered into a restaurant and hotel venture with Giggs, is keen to set up an academy.
