Jose Mourinho: 'I'm concerned by Manchester United recovery time'

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says that he is concerned by the recovery time of his squad after their trip to Moscow in the Champions League.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has placed emphasis on his side's mental approach to the Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace.

United are heavy favourites to ease past Palace - who are yet to register a point or goal in the top flight - but Mourinho has revealed that he does not feel entirely comfortable ahead of the clash at Old Trafford.

The North-West giants played CSKA Moscow in Russia on Wednesday night and only landed back in England during the early hours of Thursday morning, leaving the players short of the ideal recovery time.

The 54-year-old told reporters: "We are doing well. We have to play against every club home and away and when I look at the fixtures I only look to how much time we have to recover match to match that's the only thing that concerns me.

"The mentality is important because we played Wednesday night and didn't get back until 5am."

United will return to the top of the league standings should they prevail against the Eagles.
