Henrikh Mkhitaryan: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic is doing some incredible stuff'

Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan praises the recent performances of teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, describing some of the Swede's play as "incredible".

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said that teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic is doing "some incredible stuff" at Manchester United.

Since moving to Old Trafford in the summer, Ibrahimovic has scored 17 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions, and Mkhitaryan claims that the Swede deserves the praise that he has been receiving for his recent performances.

The 27-year-old told MUTV: "His performance doesn't show how old he is. He's doing some incredible stuff and I'm very happy for him because he deserves it.

"He's a very big player and everyone knows him. I don't have to say it because everyone knows he's a fantastic player. I hope he will do his best for the next game as well."

United are next in action when they host Middlesbrough at Old Trafford on New Year's Eve.
