Manchester United see their unbeaten record of 29 away Premier League matches come to an end against Leicester City.

Manchester United have seen their unbeaten record of 29 away Premier League matches come to an end, with the Red Devils suffering a 4-2 defeat at Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford found the back of the net for the visitors at the King Power Stadium, but a strong performance from the Foxes saw them score four times through Youri Tielemans, Caglar Soyuncu, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka.

Man United had entered the match looking to return to winning ways in the league, having picked up just a point from their matches against Aston Villa and Everton before the international break.

OIe Gunnar Solskjaer's side suffered their second league defeat of the campaign on Saturday, though, with their unbeaten run of 29 away games brought to an end by Brendan Rodgers's side.

Man United's run on the road started back in February 2020, when they recorded a 2-0 victory at Chelsea.

The 20-time English champions are next in action at home to Atalanta BC in the Champions League on October 20 before welcoming Liverpool to Old Trafford in the Premier League next weekend.
