Manchester United have reportedly fined Wayne Rooney, Jonny Evans and Darron Gibson one week's wages for having an alcohol-fuelled night out on Boxing Day.
Reports emerged yesterday claiming that Rooney was dropped by Sir Alex Ferguson for the Red Devils' 3-2 defeat to Blackburn Rovers at the weekend due to a night out with his teammates last Monday.
It is believed that the England international was fined £200,000 for his antics but sources claim that the striker has not fallen out with boss Ferguson, according to The Mirror.
The Scottish manager claimed that the 26-year-old was not fit to train and therefore omitted from Saturday's squad.
