Ryan Giggs interested in Everton, Leicester City jobs

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs says that he would be interested in holding talks over the vacant managerial positions at Everton and Leicester City.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has revealed that he is interested in the vacant managerial positions at Everton and Leicester City.

Giggs has been linked with numerous roles since hanging up his playing boots, with the Welshman's only dugout experience coming at Old Trafford in interim and assistant capacities.

However, Giggs has indicated that he is keen to hold discussions with both the Toffees and the Foxes, who have recently parted company with Ronald Koeman and Craig Shakespeare respectively.

The 43-year-old told Sky Sports: "I think you look at those two teams, Leicester being champions two seasons ago, Everton being a fantastic club with a fantastic history, for me these are clubs I would be interested in. However, there are a lot of coaches out there who would be interested in those positions.

"I've said all along that I'd be open to clubs which share the ambitions of myself. I want to improve clubs and improve players, to enjoy working for them and for players to enjoy the challenge.

"There are clubs in the Premier League which would be good jobs but also in the Championship and League One. It's more about the philosophy for me than the stature of the club."

Giggs has been out of work since leaving United upon the arrival of current boss Jose Mourinho.
