Ryan Giggs: 'Manchester United won't repeat fluke 8-2 win over Arsenal'

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs believes that this weekend's clash against Arsenal will be "tough" for the Red Devils and insists that last season's 8-2 win won't be repeated.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs believes that last season's 8-2 win over Arsenal was a "fluke" and is unlikely to be repeated this weekend.

The Gunners suffered a thumping defeat to the former Premier League champions in August last year but Giggs is wary of Arsenal's threat at Old Trafford.

"I think that was one of those fluke performances," said Giggs. "We always expect a tough performance against Arsenal, both home and away. It's no different this time.

"They got off to a really good start. They've stuttered a little in recent weeks but they have plenty of quality."

United currently sit second in the Premier League table, with Arsenal residing in sixth place.
