Massimiliano Allegri could walk away Juventus this summer, says the Italian's mentor Giovanni Galeone.

Massimiliano Allegri could walk away from his position as Juventus manager this summer, according to the Italian's mentor Giovanni Galeone.

Allegri has been in charge of Juve since 2014, winning an incredible four Serie A crowns, four Coppa Italia trophies and two Supercoppa Italiana titles since arriving at the club.

The 51-year-old has also led Juve to two Champions League finals, and Cristiano Ronaldo was signed last summer with the view to bringing European glory to the Serie A giants.

The Old Lady trail Atletico Madrid 2-0 from the first leg of their last-16 tie, though, and Galeone has suggested that Allegri will depart his current club this summer, with a move to the Premier League a possibility.

"Allegri in the Premier League next season? I've been saying it for a few years now. I don't know," Galeone told Tutto Napoli. "In Italy there aren't other clubs that he can join.

"Regardless of how the Champions League will finish, I think Allegri's adventure with Juve is over. Last summer he could have joined Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid. He refused their offers to win the Champions League with Juve."

Chelsea will be on the lookout for a new manager should Maurizio Sarri be relieved of his duties, while United are yet to appoint a permanent replacement for Jose Mourinho despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's huge success at the helm.
