Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Swansea City have been the team of the year for the 2012-13 campaign.
The prolific Scottish boss, who witnessed his side draw 1-1 with the Swans back in December, believes that special credit should go to summer signing Michu.
The Spaniard was picked up by manager Michael Laudrup from Rayo Vallecano for around £2m.
"Swansea have been terrific," Ferguson told Inside United. "The boy Michu has been a revelation. To sign him for just £2m and get 20 goals out of him - what a bargain!
"I wouldn't say Swansea have been the surprise package but they've really lifted their performances. They were a newly-promoted side last year and managed to survive in the top flight. This season, they've kicked on to another level and become a good middle-to-top side.
"They also won the League Cup of course and they play really good football. I'd say they're the team of the year with Michu a real bargain buy."
Meanwhile, United sit 15 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
