Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that new Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez is "lucky" to have been handed the job at Stamford Bridge.
The pair had a public spat during the Spaniard's managerial term at Liverpool and Ferguson believes that the 52-year-old should consider himself fortunate that he could win the Club World Cup in Japan, despite having "nothing to do" with the team.
"Rafael Benitez is very lucky because on his CV in two weeks he could have two world championships and nothing to do with the construction of the teams involved," said Ferguson.
Benitez was appointed the new boss of the Blues on Wednesday just hours after Roberto Di Matteo was dismissed.
