Marouane Fellaini: Manchester United players still "trust" Louis van Gaal

Marouane Fellaini is confident that Manchester United can win the Premier League title this season under the leadership of under-fire boss Louis van Gaal.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has insisted that he and his teammates are still fully behind boss Louis van Gaal despite the increasing pressure on the Dutchman.

The 64-year-old, who has been heavily criticised for the Red Devils' bland style of play so far this term, saw his side crash out of the Champions League with defeat at Wolfsburg in midweek.

Questions continue to be asked of Van Gaal's system, with Roy Keane the latest to hit out at what he perceives to be a side lacking leadership, but Fellaini is confident that success will soon arrive at Old Trafford.

"We trust him," the Belgium international told NBC Sports. "He is the manager, it is his philosophy and we have to continue like that. I am sure the goals will come and the chances as well.

"Can we still win the Premier League title? Yes, of course. At the moment we are in the top four, we are there. It is a tough month but we have to continue like this.

"We know as Manchester United the expectation from us is high. Now we are focused, we know what we are doing. So, we will see but we are there."

United, currently fourth in the Premier League table, return to action on Saturday when taking on Bournemouth at the Goldsands Stadium.
