Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has admitted that he does not know how long Antony will spend away from the club dealing with a personal issue.
The 23-year-old has been accused of physically assaulting his ex-partner, while two further women have also made similar allegations against him.
Brazil dropped Antony from their squad over the international break due to the sensitive nature of the situation, and it was then revealed that Man United had agreed a "period of absence" with the forward.
Antony has not been suspended, rather given a leave of absence, and he will continue to receive full pay.
"Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony. Players who have not participated in international matches are due back in training on Monday," read the statement on the club's official website.

"However, it has been agreed with Antony that he will delay his return until further notice in order to address the allegations."
Ten Hag was asked about the situation during his press conference on Friday afternoon and revealed that he had been in touch with the former Ajax winger.
"Of course he is disappointed, but he is okay," the manager told reporters after admitting that he had "no idea" how long the South American would spend away from the club.
Antony's former partner, Gabriela Cavallin, is accusing him of a number of incidents of abuse, the most serious of which is said to have happened in a Manchester hotel in January.

The forward, though, has denied all of the allegations against him, with police in both Brazil and Manchester currently conducting their own investigations.
"I have agreed with Manchester United to take a period of absence while I address the allegations made against me," Antony's statement read.
"This was a mutual decision to avoid distraction to my teammates and unnecessary controversy for the club.
"I want to reiterate my innocence of the things I have been accused of, and I will fully cooperate with the police to help them reach the truth. I look forward to returning to play as soon as possible."
Man United are also currently missing another right-sided attacker, with Jadon Sancho training away from the main group at Old Trafford due to his recent fall-out with Ten Hag.
