Manchester United defender Luke Shaw was part of the squad that trained under new boss Jose Mourinho on Thursday afternoon.
The 20-year-old missed a large chunk of last season after suffering a double-leg break in a Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven towards the start of the campaign.
The Englishman returned to light training in the final weeks of the season, but he was allowed to take part in a full-contact session alongside Mourinho on Man United's first day of pre-season training.
Good first training session back with the boys today! Feels so good to be back! Bedtimee now. Night peeps ✌🏽️

Shaw is expected to be in the squad to face Wigan Athletic in Man United's first pre-season match on July 16. Following that fixture, the Red Devils will head to China to face Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on July 22, before taking on rivals Manchester City on July 25 in Beijing.
