Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku's record vs. Fulham

Sports Mole looks at Romelu Lukaku's goalscoring record against Fulham ahead of Saturday's Premier League game at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United make the trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on Saturday knowing that victory will move the club into fourth place in the Premier League table.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has put together a run of nine wins and a draw since replacing Jose Mourinho in the dugout, and the Norwegian will want to register another success ahead of the team's Champions League fixture with Paris Saint-Germain three days later.

Romelu Lukaku has found himself in and out of the team under Solskjaer, but the Belgium international is in contention to feature in the starting lineup this weekend.

Ahead of the game against Claudio Ranieri's men, Sports Mole assesses Lukaku's previous outings against Fulham.

Lukaku has faced Fulham on seven occasions, but the frontman has represented as many as four different clubs along the way.

The then-youngster played the full 90 minutes as Chelsea defeated Fulham on penalties in the EFL Cup during the 2011-12 campaign, but he failed to get on the pitch in either of the Premier League fixtures during that season.

That changed when Lukaku represented West Bromwich Albion the following year and one goal was scored during his 145 minutes of action, while he helped Everton record the double over the Cottagers in 2013-14 with one goal being recorded.

Lukaku played the full 90 minutes as United beat Fulham in the Premier League earlier this season, and the striker netted his side's third goal just before half time.

In total, Lukaku has scored just twice against Fulham, with four wins and three defeats coming from those games.
