Everton are a team that Martial has enjoyed facing down the years, netting an impressive nine goals against them in 17 appearances, in addition to providing four assists.

The Toffees are Martial's favourite opponents when it comes to finding the back of the net during his professional career, while he has won 12, drawn four and lost just one of his previous 17 games against the Merseyside team in all competitions.

Martial's first goal against Everton came in a 1-0 Man United win at Old Trafford during the 2015-16 campaign, while he netted against them home and away during the 2017-18 Premier League season.

Only one of his six league goals in games with Everton have come at Goodison Park, but he provided an assist in a 2-1 victory for Man United at the famous stadium in 2022-23.

Martial also has a strong record against Everton in the cup competitions, winning twice in the FA Cup and once in the EFL Cup, scoring twice and providing two assists in the process.

The forward's low-point in games with the Toffees came in 2019, when he played the full 90 minutes of a 4-0 defeat for the 20-time English champions at Goodison Park in the league.

Martial has largely enjoyed his match-ups with the Merseyside team since his arrival in English football, also netting once in a 3-0 success for Man United at Goodison Park during the 2023-24 Premier League campaign, but he missed the return fixture at Old Trafford through injury.
