Chelsea, Manchester United FA Cup replay set for April 1

Chelsea and Manchester United's FA Cup quarter-final replay will take place on April 1 at Stamford Bridge.

The FA Cup quarter-final replay between Chelsea and Manchester United will take place on Monday April 1.

The 2-2 draw at Old Trafford last Sunday caused a fixture congestion, with Chelsea's exploits in the Europa League ruling out the possibility of a Wednesday clash this week.

"Our FA Cup quarter-final replay with Manchester United will take place on Easter Monday, April 1 at 12.30pm," read a statement on Chelsea's official website.

"That game will be live on ITV, and means our Barclays Premier League match scheduled for Sunday March 31 at Southampton will now take place on Saturday March 30 at 3pm."

The winner of the quarter-final clash will face Manchester City at Wembley in the semi-finals.
