Jose Mourinho refuses to attribute blame after Feyenoord defeat

Jose Mourinho reveals that he plans on reverting back to his "normal team" for the meeting with Watford, but refuses to blame his players following defeat to Feyenoord.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has refused to single out any of his underperforming players following the 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord in the Europa League.

The Red Devils fell to a Tonny Vilhena goal 11 minutes from time at De Kuip, which Mourinho felt should not have stood, to make it back-to-back defeats.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard, without specifically being named, came in for criticism from the former Chelsea boss in the wake of the 2-1 loss to Manchester City last weekend, but Mourinho was unwilling to attribute blame on this occasion.

"I don't want to go in that direction," he told BT Sport. "I don't want to personalise. Obviously, some played better than others. It was the first game for some. We go back to a normal team without so many changes [against Watford]."

United, who made eight changes for the trip to the Netherlands, have now lost their opening group game in European competition in consecutive seasons for the first time ever.
